| Since 1982 Frankie has been a vital part of the polka radio scene in Akron,
Ohio. In Cleveland and around the country his orchestra's music has enjoyed
abundant broadcast time. In 1989 at the age of 64, Frankie moved his radio
show to 91.3 WAPS FM where it can still be heard every Sunday from 4PM to 6PM.
The radio show provides a variety of ethnic polkas and waltzes from new releases to golden oldies. Some broadcasts feature new releases from his ancestral home of Slovenia. Every show has special dedications to friends, acquaintances and fellow musicians who have a celebration to share or a fond memory in passing.
