For years the summer found Frankie and his orchestra and button box group playing throughout the region. One of the largest crowds is a weekend celebration of Dayton, Ohio's many ethnic nationalities.
In 1986 Spetich asked his cousin, Tony Trenta, to join him. They've been playing the button box together at the World Affair ever since. Other musicians have joined the group and as the band grew so did the festival.
